The bid committee for the United 2026 World Cup, proposed to be hosted between Canada, the United States and Mexico, announced the final list of 23 cities in contention to host games should the bid win the right to host the 2026 tournament.
The list of 23 is down from the last group of 32 cities throughout the three countries. Up to 16 cities would ultimately get the opportunity to host World Cup games for the 48-team tournament. The United 2026 bid will be up against a bid from Morocco, with FIFA member nations voting for the host on June 13.
