The season is over after the Colorado Rapids failed to take advantage of their away goal and then giving up one to the Seattle Sounders early in the second half. Seattle won the match 1-0 and 3-1 on aggregate.
The first half had the Rapids with many opportunities, but they could not get the ball into the back of the net. Jermaine Jones had a good shot and Kevin Doyle had a great cross that Sebastien Le Toux could not get a foot too.
The goal came from a turnover and the Sounders turned it back in quickly to Jordan Morris who got in alone on Zac MacMath and chipped it over his head into the net.
