Spotlight on Chris Wondolowski
The 33-year-old U.S. international is one of the most prolific goal-scorers in league history. The San Jose striker’s 119 goals rank fourth on the MLS all-time list behind Landon Donovan (144), Jeff Cunningham (134) and Jaime Moreno (133). Wondolowski on Saturday scored his team-leading 10th goal of the season, becoming the first player in league history to score double-digit goals in seven consecutive seasons. “Wondo” has ten career goals against the Rapids in 18 games, including a tally in the season opener on March 6 — the difference in a 1-0 Earthquakes win at Avaya Stadium.
