The Colorado Rapids returned home on Sunday afternoon following the trip to Orlando. There was little time for rest as the players prepared for a two-game homestand. However, the impending snowstorm saw Wednesday's game against Seattle get postponed to September 7, which provided a mid-week rest for the team.

"It's the second time in my career that I've had a game postponed," said Tim Howard. "It's nice when you get that phone call because it gives us that extra bit of rest.
