Spotlight on Marco Pappa
The Guatemalan international is set to face the team with which he started his MLS career. Pappa appeared in 112 games (101 starts) for Chicago Fire, notching 26 goals and 16 assists between 2008 and 2012. Pappa on Tuesday made his first appearance since injuring his knee in a snowy game April 16 against the New York Red Bulls. The 28-year-old played 86 minutes in the Rapids’ 1-0 U.S. Open Cup win over Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC of the United Soccer League.
