After alluding to a deal being completed soon, the Colorado Rapids have signed goalkeeper William Yarbrough to a three-year contract with a club option for an additional year.
The 31-year-old was on a one-year loan for the 2020 season from Liga MX’s Club León. After Clint Irwin went out of the MLS is Back Tournament due to concussion protocol, Yarbrough earned the starting spot and went 6-4-4 with four clean sheets.
“We’re thrilled to be able to bring Will back to the club,” said Pádraig Smith, Colorado Rapids Executive VP & General Manager.
