The Colorado Rapids’ match against the Portland Timbers this Saturday has been postponed after three more confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the Rapids organization, Major League Soccer announced Thursday.
The additional positive cases were among two players and one staff member, raising the total number of people within the organization to test positive during the last week to 14 (four players and 10 staff members).
The match, which was scheduled to be played at Providence Park, has been rescheduled for Nov. 4 at 8 p.m.
This comes after Colorado’s home match last Sunday against Sporting Kansas City was also postponed after one player and three staff members tested positive for the virus late last week.
