After not playing for a full month, the Colorado Rapids expected a battle against Sporting Kansas City. In the pregame press conference, Rapids Head Coach Robin Fraser said that “Games at Kansas City are always tough. They’re a very good team, very well-organized, and they play very well at home. So for us, it’s just been a matter of getting back into a rhythm as quickly as possible.”
Unfortunately, the Rapids weren’t able to find their rhythm tonight and allowed four second-half goals to head back to Colorado with a 4-0 loss.
