In conjunction with US Soccer, the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club announced today that defender Sebastian Anderson has been named to the United States U-17 roster for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
The tournament will run from October 26 to November 17. Anderson and the US are set to face Japan, the Netherlands and Senegal in Group D with their first match against Senegal on October 27 in Cariacica, Brazil.
Anderson, a Highlands Ranch native, became the youngest player to sign with the Rapids when he inked his Homegrown contract on April 3.
