Earlier this week, we broke down what we consider to be the 12 best candidates to become the next head coach of the Colorado Rapids.
To those 12 names, we add about a dozen more. These are ‘dark horse’ possibilities; the long-shots and strong ‘maybes’.
You might think that the odds are too low that any of these candidates would be in strong consideration. To that I would reply, A) Country House, a 65 to 1 shot, won the Kentucky Derby this year, and B) almost nobody predicted that Anthony Hudson, a manager with a little bit of experience with the New Zealand national team but an unimpressive win-loss record overall, came out of nowhere to become the Rapids’ previous head coach.
