COMMERCE CITY — Another week, and another home loss for the Colorado Rapids. This time coming in the first leg of the Rocky Mountain Cup, the home team dropped to their rivals Real Salt Lake 3-2 in front of 15,437.
The Rapids (0-9-2) have now just picked two points in six home games and have fallen in each of the first two matches under interim head coach Conor Casey. Three transactions earlier in the week did help the club, as Jonathan Lewis picked up an assist and Lalas Abubakar started at center back and nearly picked up an equalizer, still the results eluded the Rapids.
