With the primary transfer window closing yesterday, we’ve all been waiting to hear the truth on some of the rumors that started floating around. The first confirmed move is the acquisition of Jonathan Lewis, a young forward from NYCFC.
The 21-year-old joined the USMNT’s January camp and has huge potential. He can play left or right wing and had two assists in his appearances against Panama and Costa Rica. He has four total caps with the senior team. Lewis played in 14 matches for NYCFC in 2018 (219 minutes), earning one goal and three assists.
