The Colorado Department of Health and Environment today announced the approval of the Colorado Rapids' plan to host matches with fans at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park.
“For the past several months, the club has been working closely with local health authorities and government officials to develop a plan to safely host fans at our stadium again,” said Padraig Smith, Colorado Rapids Executive VP & General Manager.
“We’re pleased to hear that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has approved our plan to do so. The health and safety of our supporters is our key priority in this process and we look forward to hosting fans at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park at the appropriate time during the next phase of MLS play.
