The Charlotte Independence hit the road for the first time in the 2018 USL season and came away with a 2-0 loss to Nashville SC. It was a tough match to lose. The performance by the Jacks was not as bad as the scoreline may indicate, but nevertheless, they are winless in two now.
It was not much better for Phoenix Rising FC, as they dropped a home match to Real Monarchs SLC 1-0 for their first defeat of the year.
Here is how things went for the Burgundy Boys on Loan:
Nashville SC 2, Charlotte Independence 0
As mentioned above, Charlotte took to the road for the first time in 2018 and met a determined and passionate Nashville squad.
