The Rapids defender had arthroscopic surgery this week and will miss some time to recover.
The Colorado Rapids released a statement June 7th that Centerback Bobby Burling had undergone arthroscopic knee surgery and would be out five weeks.
Burling has started 10 of the Rapids 14 games, alongside partner Axel Sjoberg. After replacing Jared Watts, who started the first four games of the season at Centerback, Burling had played in every Rapids match since. The Rapids have gone 6-3-1 (WTL) with Burling in the lineup. Burling also scored a goal on April 30th against Montreal Impact.
