The Colorado Rapids (0-1-0) open up their 17-game MLS home schedule Saturday against Sporting Kansas City (2-1-0). Here are six things you need to know.
When: Saturday, 7 p.m.
Where: Dick’s Sporting Goods Park
TV/Radio: Altitude TV/950 AM
Tickets: The Rapids expect the game to sell out. Tickets are available on the secondary market, starting at $26.
1. MLS home debuts. Rapids head coach Anthony Hudson will be making his regular season home debut. He coached Colorado to a 2-0 home loss in front of 2,673 fans in frigid conditions in a CONCACAF Champions League game last month, but this will be his first chance to see a packed Dick’s Sporting Good Park on match day.
