BOULDER — Drew Wilson, a veteran of over a decade of experience working with Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) programs in strength and conditioning, has been named the University of Colorado’s director of football strength and conditioning, head football coach Mike MacIntyre announced Tuesday.
Wilson, 37, joins the CU staff effective immediately from the University of Maryland, where he spent the last five years as the Terrapins’ director of strength and conditioning, overseeing all aspects of training and development of the football team, which was coached by Randy Edsall. That also included working with the training staff in the design of both prehabilitation and rehabilitation programs for the student-athletes in injury prevention and healing.
