Drew Wolitarsky thinks Laviska Shenault Jr. is in for a ball. Even better, the Colorado Buffaloes’ star wideout is going to be seeing the ball a lot, too.
“They’re going to be motioning him inside, motioning him to the slot. Maybe even putting him in the backfield,” Wolitarsky, the former University of Minnesota wide receiver, said of Shenault, and how the Buffs star fits into what new CU offensive coordinator Jay Johnson brings to the table. “Jay has really good concepts. He’s going to be put in great positions.”
Johnson reportedly will join coach Mel Tucker from the staff at Georgia, where he had worked as an offensive quality control analyst the last two seasons.
