BOULDER — On the first day of classes for the fall semester, Mike MacIntyre’s routine with his Colorado Buffaloes has already changed. Instead of afternoon position group meetings, he’ll be walking the campus to make sure his players are fulfilling their academic requirements.
But before the first round of syllabi were handed out to his players, MacIntyre already set forth his own version on the football field. That, of course, would be the early details of his game plan for the Rocky Mountain Showdown, which is under two weeks away.
While speaking to the media, MacIntyre said that while players are just getting familiar with Colorado State and what the Buffs hope to do in order to open the season with a win, he spent much of the offseason reviewing game film of the Rams’ end of season run.
