Leon White, a former Colorado Buffaloes offensive lineman who became pro-wrestling star Big Van Vader, died Monday, according to his son Jesse on Twitter. White was 63.

White starred at center for the CU Buffs and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the third round of the 1978 NFL draft. He played two years in the league before retiring due to injuries, according to NewsOK.com.
