SEATTLE — After his club went through a workout at Alaska Airlines Arena on Friday, Colorado men's basketball coach Tad Boyle talked about the need for the Buffaloes to protect the ball against a Washington defense that forces the most turnovers in the league.
That warning proved prophetic.
The Buffs committed 19 turnovers and the Pac-12 Conference-leading Huskies dominated each side of halftime, sending CU to a 64-55 defeat Saturday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.
It was CU's second straight loss in the state of Washington on the heels of a five-game winning streak, and it also was the Buffs' fourth straight loss at UW.
