Trojans Top Buffs With Strong Second Half

BOULDER – Down just by two at halftime, the University of Colorado lacrosse team had a comeback against Southern California in its sights. But, a strong second half by the Trojans helped USC push past the Buffs, 11-5, on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 22 Trojans improved to 7-1 with the win, and are now 2-0 in Pac-12 Conference games. The Buffs, which are 23rd nationally, drop to 3-4 overall and have a 2-1 record in league play.

WHAT HAPPENED: The Trojans scored the first four goals of the game before Miranda Stinson was able to get the Buffs on the board with 17:02 left in the first half.
