BOULDER - CU's football team wrapped up its home slate with an important 20-14 win over Washington on Nov. 23, giving the Buffs a late-season two-game winning streak and keeping their bowl hopes alive another week.
But perhaps most impressive, it was CU's first win over the Huskies in Boulder since 1990, snapping a nine-game losing streak in the series to a team that has made 10 straight bowl appearances and was the reigning Pac-12 champion. The win made a statement that the future is bright on Saturdays in Boulder and put the game into CU's countdown of top competitions from 2019-20.
