The biggest win of the Mike MacIntyre era, that’s what 66,253 fans witnessed at Sports Authority Field Saturday night.
As much as many fans want to write off Colorado State and not acknowledge them as a big opponent for the Buffs, they simply are right now. They are a tough opponent, a tough rival, their fans created a pretty hostile environment on the north side of the stadium, and Colorado players and coaches agree. In the words of a song you have heard way too many times “don’t believe me, just watch.”
If Colorado State was just some lowly opponent that didn’t deserve Colorado’s time of day, you don’t have players diving into the crowd like they’re AC/DC.
