BOULDER—Ten Colorado Buffaloes were named to the At-Large Academic All-District teams presented by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced Wednesday.
The at-large team consists of several sports, including golf, lacrosse and skiing for the Buffs, and each school is allowed to nominate five men and five women for the honor. As long as the student-athletes are past their first year in residence at CU and possess above a 3.5 grade point average, they will automatically be named Academic All-District and be placed on the ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
The 10 Buffs that earned the honor are Hanna Abrahamsson (Nordic skiing), Jacob Dilling (alpine skiing), Elena Exenberger (alpine skiing), Louis Fausa (alpine skiing), Filip Forejtek (alpine skiing), Lauren Gooding (women's golf), Emma Hammergaard (alpine skiing), Oyvind Haugan (Nordic skiing), Will Koch (Nordic skiing) and Charlie Rudy (lacrosse).
