BOULDER — University of Colorado senior attacker Miranda Stinson has been named to the Tewaaraton Award's top-25 list of nominees, as announced on Thursday.
The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the pre-eminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. Five women's finalists will be selected from this group on Thursday, May 9.
Stinson leads the Buffs this season in almost every statistical category, including points (66), goals (53), assists (13), draw controls (48), ground balls (33) and caused turnovers (22). She is the Pac-12 Conference leader in goals and is second in points.
