BOULDER – Seniors Julyette Steur and Ashley Tiefel were honored Sunday at the Byron R. White Club Level as the University of Colorado women’s tennis team celebrated the 2014-15 season.
Steur was named the team’s Most Valuable Player, as well as the Sports Performer of the Year. The senior from Apeldoorn, The Netherlands was also named Co-Most Improved along with Tiefel.
The team’s Clutch Player was awarded to sophomore Nuria Ormeño Ruiz for the second straight year. The team’s Academic M.V.P. will be determined at the end of the semester when final grades are posted.
