Spencer Dinwiddie signs with Brooklyn Nets

Former Colorado star Spencer Dinwiddie has signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets. Per Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, Dinwiddie’s contract with likely be a partially-guaranteed three-year deal. He has spent the early season with the Windy City Bulls of the NBA D-League.

After starring at Colorado for three years, Dinwiddie declared for the 2014 NBA Draft and was selected by the Detroit Pistons 38th overall. In Detroit, he bounced around between between the NBA and Detroit’s D-League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Drive. Dinwiddie had moderate success in limited minutes with the Pistons, but was unable to secure a stable role with the team.
