The last time the Colorado Buffaloes were slated to have an all-Texas backfield was when Steven Montez and Patrick Carr came to Boulder. Montez stuck around (and started), but Carr transferred out of CU after a promising freshman year and is now playing a pretty big role on his hometown Houston Cougars. The Class of 2020 is also slated to have an all Texas backfield, with Brendon Lewis signed on at QB and now Stacy Sneed as the running back.
Stacy (I’m sure he has heard more than his share of ‘Stacy’s Mom’ jokes) plays at Mansfield Timberview high school in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
