BOULDER – The world of women's soccer will turn its focus to France this summer. The country is hosting the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in June and the Colorado soccer team will be there to experience it firsthand.
Head coach Danny Sanchez and the Buffaloes will embark on a 10-day journey through France in June. The Buffs will spend time in Paris and Montpellier, playing four games against French teams. The CU contingency will also be in attendance for one of the United State's preliminary round matches.
"We have the unique opportunity to take our team to France for the Women's World Cup this June," Sanchez explained.
