BOULDER—Football's Laviska Shenault Jr., and women's golfer Kirsty Hodgkins were named the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow, for the week of Sept. 9-15.
Shenault, a junior from DeSoto, Texas, hauled in eight receptions for 124 yards and one receiving touchdown against Air Force. He also added 25 yards on three carries and a second touchdown on the ground late in the fourth quarter. His two scores give him three on touchdowns on the season. It was the fourth game of his career that he reached the endzone by both rushing and receiving.
