BOULDER—Junior WR Laviska Shenault was named to his third watch list of the preseason Wednesday as the Paul Hornung Award published its list of candidates for the award, given to the nation's most versatile player. The honor gives the Colorado Football team seven players and 13 total watch list accolades in the past two weeks.
Shenault, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound receiver from DeSoto, Texas, was also named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award (nation's top player) and the Biletnikoff Award (nation's top receiver) watch lists. Shenault led the nation in receiving in 2018, averaging 9.6 receptions per game as a sophomore, when he burst on the national scene before suffering an injury in week six and missing three games.
