BOULDER — There hasn't been much separation between offensive linemen Shane Callahan and Jonathan Huckins in their competition for the starting job at right guard for the Colorado football team this month.
So coaches have decided to play them both this season.
Head coach Mike MacIntyre and offensive line coach Gary Bernardi will still have to make a decision about who takes the first series when the season starts Sept. 3 at Hawaii, but Callahan and Huckins are expected to rotate at the position.
"We're going to rotate," MacIntyre said Saturday when asked about that position battle.
