BOULDER — The Buffaloes are sending five volleyball players to the USA Volleyball tryouts, Feb. 19-21, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The University of Colorado’s contingency includes current athletes Taylor Joachim, Cierra Simpson, Gabby Simpson and Alexa Smith, as well as Nicole Edelman, who exhausted her eligibility after the 2015 season.
“This is a great opportunity for our athletes to compete with some of the best players in the country and I know they are all very excited,” Colorado head coach Jesse Mahoney said.
