BOULDER – Down 11-6 with 25:42 to play in the second half, Colorado scored seven unanswered goals to finish the game and upended USC on Friday afternoon.
"Our team has been in this situation time and time again, and we made our way partway back and we hadn't been able to finish since the beginning of the season at Louisville, this has been a theme for us," Colorado coach Ann Elliott Whidden said. "It's about them going out there and actually making the plays at the moment, them trusting each other and themselves, and being aggressive.
