CALIFORNIA – The University of Colorado track and field program completed its California trip on a high note as senior Gabby Scott rewrote the women's 400-meter hurdle school record at the Mt. Sac Relays.
Scott finished second in the Mt. Sac Relays Invite section of the women's 400 hurdles in a time of 57.59 after winning the first section of the timed finals. Scott dropped seven-tenths of a second off her previous best to pass Leona Russell's 1996 school record of 57.77. It was Russell's indoor 400 record that Scott broke earlier this year.
