BOULDER - CU Athletics has designated Saturday's football game versus the Nebraska Cornhuskers as this year's "Mental Health Awareness" game. This marks the second year the Athletic Department has featured this important topic throughout a football game to help destigmatize past myths about mental health and encourage those in need to seek support.
During the game, fans will see three videos promoting messages about mental health support services and what the athletic department and broader campus are doing to address this national issue. A couple of those featured programs include the CU Athletics Bolder Buffs peer advocacy support group and the "BeThe1To" suicide prevention campaign.
