DENVER—Colorado soccer head coach Danny Sanchez will be inducted into the Metropolitan State University of Denver's Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Under Sanchez's lead, the Roadrunners became a dominant fixture in NCAA DII women's soccer. His teams went undefeated in the RMAC from 2003-06 and won two national championships.
Sanchez compiled a record of 128-11-7 in his six-year tenure at MSU Denver. From 2002-2007, Sanchez coached the Roadrunners to six NCAA Tournament appearances, six Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season championships and three RMAC Tournament championships.
