Going into Saturday, Colorado head football coach Mike MacIntyre said his top priority was to come out of a scrimmage without injuries.
Unfortunately, the Buffaloes weren't so lucky.
Running back Kyle Evans left Folsom Field in an ambulance with what Macintyre said was a hip injury sustained midway through the closed scrimmage.
MacIntyre said he wasn't sure of the severity of the injury and how it would impact the Buffs' depth going forward.
"Any time you get anybody hurt, you worry about depth (at that position), but we have some other good running backs and we definitely need Kyle back," MacIntyre said.
