BOULDER — University of Colorado sophomore Charlie Rudy has been named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after leading the 25th-ranked Buffaloes to a 2-0 weekend at home with 12 goals and four assists.
The Buffs (3-2, 1-0 Pac-12) defeated Oregon in the Pac-12 opener on March 6 at Kittredge Field, 21-5. Rudy scored four times for the Buffs and added three assists for seven points.
But the best performance came on March 8 when Rudy tied a CU single-game record with eight goals against Coastal Carolina. The only other Buff to score eight goals was Miranda Stinson on March 10, 2019, against California.
