Colorado battled Colorado State in the 2019 Rocky Mountain Showdown on Friday night, the final rivalry game at Mile High Stadium before the series moves to the university sites next year. The following are notes from an eventful first half of play pushed back by a weather delay.
Buffs waste no time scoring. Colorado’s opening touchdown march featured plenty of attention on potential first-round pick Laviska Shenault, who didn’t have any catches on the drive but did warrant plenty of action.
