The task ahead of the Colorado men's basketball team isn't an easy one. Yet it's a journey a Tad Boyle-coached Buffaloes have successfully traversed before, and this time they will try to run the table in Las Vegas as one of the hottest teams in the Pac-12 Conference.
The fifth-seeded Buffs tip off the league tourney Wednesday afternoon against Cal (3:30 p.m., Pac-12 Network) having won eight of their past 10 games, a run they capped Saturday with a 78-67 win against USC in which CU once again dominated the second half.
In order to reach the NCAA Tournament, the Buffs will have to win four games in four days, culminating with a win in the title game Saturday night that would secure the Pac-12's automatic berth in the 68-team NCAA field.
