For the first time in eight years, it appears the Colorado football team will land the state's top prep prospect.
On Thursday night, Pomona offensive lineman Jake Moretti announced on Twitter that he plans to sign with the hometown Buffaloes and enroll at CU in January.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound tackle had previously committed to Ohio State on July 4, but has decided to de-commit from the Buckeyes.
"After a great deal of thought and discussion with my family and (Pomona head coach Jay Madden), I have made the decision to attend University of Colorado in January 2017," Moretti tweeted.
