On Monday afternoon, Palmer Ridge quarterback Ty Evans announced that he has given his verbal commitment to the Buffaloes.
A junior who led Palmer Ridge to the Class 3A state title, Evans make the trip to Boulder on Monday to deliver the news to CU coaches in person.
The 6-foot, 2.5-inch, 185-pound Evans completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 3,627 yards, 42 touchdowns and only seven interceptions this past season. As a sophomore, he threw for 3,130 yards, 30 touchdowns and five interceptions.
