The Pac-12 became the third Power 5 conference to set a date for athletes to return to on-campus in-person training on Tuesday.
The Pac-12 will allow voluntary in-person workouts for all sports starting June 15, the conference announced following a meeting of the Pac-12 CEO Group. The decision comes four days after the Big 12 and SEC made similar announcements in the wake of the NCAA’s decision to permit schools to reopen voluntary training for all sports starting June 1.
CU has yet to indicate when it will allow in-person workouts on campus, but CU-Boulder Chancellor Phil DiStefano, the CEO Group Chair, threw his support behind the Pac-12’s decision Tuesday.
