Pac-12 Networks announced Thursday it is partnering with Twitter to live stream at least 150 games across various sports for the 2016-17 academic year.
The project, called Pac-12 Plus, will showcase live events broadcast by the conference’s 12 universities.
“Twitter is the fastest way to find out what is happening in live sports,” Twitter CFO Anthony Noto said in a news release. “Our partnership with the Pac-12 Networks will give sports fans a great way to view live sporting events along with the live Twitter conversation they are already accustomed to.”
Sports on Pac-12 Plus will include baseball, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, volleyball, water polo and wrestling.
