LOS ANGELES — Four Colorado football players have earned preseason All-Pac-12 designation by the league's media, including defensive end Mustafa Johnson and wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr., both of whom were named to the first team.
The announcement came in conjunction with the conference's annual Media Day here Wednesday. In addition to Johnson and Shenault, linebacker Nate Landman earned second-team honors and offensive tackle Will Sherman was an honorable mention selection.
Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 290-pound defensive end from Turlock, Calif., started all 12 games last season and led the Pac-12 in sacks with 8½.
