"Washington State is a good team, always a never-say-die team," head coach Nicole Kenneally said. "They do a great job of fighting right until the end. Today we had a few players dealing with some personal adversity. A couple of them did a great job of overcoming that and fighting really hard. We've got to keep working on closing and working on our basics and doing what we do well, and converting on our opportunities.
