If anyone would have said the state of Oregon football would be at a crossroads entering week five against Colorado you would have thought they were insane. And yet, here we are. Unranked in the AP poll for the first time since 2009, two loses entering October for the first time since 2004, this week’s contest is a must win for the Ducks. Not just to keep hopes for a Rose Bowl alive; But to keep Oregon’s reputation in tact. A loss to cellar-dweller Colorado would indicate that a seismic shift in power will begin to be underway in the Pac 12.
