AZUSA, Calif. – University of Colorado sophomore broke three 10-year-old school records in the decathlon and currently sits in first place at the California Invitational here Wednesday. Oliver, a defensive back on CU's football team, broke the 100 meters, long jump and 400-meter decathlon school records which dated back to 1997.
WHAT HAPPENED
is sitting nicely in first place (CU Invite 'A' Section) in the decathlon with 4,044 points after the first day of competition. Oliver started the day with a third-place finish in the 100 meters, finishing in 10.84. Just as he did in the indoor season Oliver, broke yet another school record as he clinched the CU decathlon 100-meter school record.
